The founders started in the company in 2004 after emigrating to New Zealand, transferring a business model that had proved successful in the UK and mainland Europe over the previous 15 years. The company is a reflection of its 2 founders, who pride themselves in being able to deliver a required service professionally and on time, whilst bringing enthusiasm and conviction into every role. Together they have over 45 years worth of IT experience which covers just about every aspect of the IT skill set requirements.
When the founders moved out to New Zealand they had a vision of providing the IT industry in the Christchurch, Banks Peninsula and Canterbury areas with a "one stop" consultancy service. This service provides its customers with their required IT solution, whatever size of company. Start-ups, takeovers, new IT department creation, new ideas that need to become reality, and last but not least the monitoring of hardware and software either internally or remotely. Whatever the requirement G3 will provide it to turn any IT department into an efficient, productive department.
G3 is also committed to providing off-site services to any company with the communications available to support it; this adds the opportunity to provide cost-effective part time support to companies who are not big enough to require anything more complex. To this end, we can also offer off-site monitoring and health-checking options.
Although committed to Open Source software - based on the Linux platform - in the "back office" environment, we are also just as committed to supporting a Microsoft based desktop environment, and the resulting heterogeneous networks this produces.
Finally, G3 is also able to offer fixed price software development services, and can develop and present training courses on a wide variety of subjects.
